The following are the schedules for 2012 Examinations to be administered by the Civil Service Commission:
OTHER EXAMINATIONS (DETAILS TO FOLLOW)
1. Properly accomplished prescribed examination application form (CS Form No. 100, Revised 2008).
2. Four (4) copies of identical I.D. pictures with specifications, as follows:
a. (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm - 1.78" x 1.38") Passport size
b. Colored with white background
c. Printed on quality photo paper
d. Must show the subject applicant in standard close-up shot (from shoulder level up). Applicants should not wear eye glasses or any accessory that may cover their facial features when they are having their pictures taken.
e. Taken within the last three months prior to filing of application
f. With full name tag
§ The name tag must show the applicant's First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, and Extension Name (if any)
§ The name tag should not be computer-generated, meaning, the applicant should have his/her picture taken while holding his/her name tag.
3. Photocopy and original of any of the following valid IDs : Philhealth ID, Driver’s License, SSS ID, GSIS ID, current Office ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter’s ID, Valid Passport (with signature) or Police Clearance (computer generated copy) containing the applicant’s picture, signature, birthdate, and the signature of the authorized head of the issuing agency.
4. Examination fee of Php 500.00.
Furthermore, the following are the admission requirements for applicants: they must be at least 18 years of age on the date of filing of application (For October 16, 2011 CSE-PPT, applicant must be born on or before May 23, 1993), must be Filipino citizens, and have not taken the same level of CS Examination in less than three (3) months.
The examinations are divided into the following: Verbal Aptitude, Analytical Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude, and General Information. The later shall include these areas: Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts, and Environment Management and Protection.
